We already, as a daily practice, assure universal precautions as outlined by CDC and OSHA standards of infection control. Safety is always our number one focus. Our high standard of care ensures that your trust and safety are never compromised. We are taking extended measures to further protect all our patients and team with the following additional protocols: In compliance with the recommendations for public health, anyone with a cough or fever will not be allowed in the the office and should stay home. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a later date. The office is now paperless in an effort to minimixe possible cross-contamination. You can go online at https://forms.patientconnect36... ahead of time to fill out your Health History and ADA Covid-19 Screening Form to minimize your office visit. There are other forms there for new patients as well. These forms may also be accessed on the office website at PALOZOLAFAMILYDENTAL.COM. Before your appointment you have the option to stay in your car instead of the waiting room until we're ready to seat you in your operatory. Simply call us when you arrive and we will let you know when we're ready for you. Please wear a facemask, if possible, when entering the building and the office. The reception area has been modified to accomodate social distancing in the unforeseen event you are not seated promptly. There are also UVGI air purifiers placed in the reception area and operatories that kill viruses, bacteria and other microorganisms. Upon entering the office you will be asked to sanitize your hands and your temperature will be taken. At the beginning of every appointment you will be asked to pre-rinse with a 1.5% solution of hydrogen peroxide per CDC recommendations. Peridex Mouth Rinse, which has anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties and is routinely used during periodontal (gum) treatment, will be used during all dental cleanings. Additionally, we are requesting you sanitize your hands before re-entering the business areas.
